Who we are

Information we collect

  • Account data — when you sign in with Google: email, name, and avatar provided by Google via Supabase Auth.
  • Billing data — subscription and ad payments are processed by Stripe. We store Stripe customer/subscription IDs and membership status; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Newsletter — email address if you subscribe to the briefing.
  • Usage — standard server and analytics logs (e.g. Vercel Analytics) such as pages viewed and approximate region.
  • Advertising — creatives, contact details, and booking dates you submit on the advertise flow.

How we use it

To operate the site, authenticate members, process payments, deliver newsletters, review ads, improve editorial products, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Processors

We use Supabase (auth/database), Stripe (payments), and Vercel (hosting/analytics). Each processes data under their own terms and our configuration.

Retention & rights

We keep account and billing records while your membership or legal needs require it. You may request access or deletion by emailing hello@ducktimes.com. You can cancel subscriptions via your account billing portal.

Changes

We may update this policy; the date above will change. Continued use of the site after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
